We’re all super pumped to see the new flick with all it’s action packed scenes and of course, we can’t forget the unbelievable cars, so we thought we’d share with you engine freaks a sneak peak of the new Bumblebee model to kick your car cravings until the movie.
Bumblebee is definitely one of the office favourites, he’s on team Autobot and he’s Prime’s number one side-kick. It also looks like our favourite yellow friend has had a makeover for the new film!
The original car was a vintage 1967 Camaro but for the new flick Bay has upgraded to a 2014 Concept Camaro. Purdy.
Transformers Original Bumblebee: 1967 Camaro
Bumblebee reloaded: 2014 Chevrolet Camaro. Wicked!
This car is very powerful and is sure to kick some Deceptacon butt with its V-6 323 horsepower engine, take that Megatron!
The new model also features changes to the front, the upper portion of the grille has been vertically compressed, this means it looks slightly wider at the front, while the lower section has been widened to improve cooling. Clever huh?
At the rear you’ll find some fancy new rectangular taillights and in addition the diffuser and decklid have been updated to improve the aerodynamics (so the wind slows it down less) of the vehicle. This allows Bumblebee to get around more quickly and safely to help protect us from the Deceptacons.
Transformers: Age of Extinction hits screens down under in June 2014.
