GETTING MOBBED
The next big update introduces new combat challenge arenas called Trial Chambers. These are found throughout the Deepslate layer of the underground and are different every time! In one you might face Zombies, Spiders and Strays. The next, Husks, Skeletons and the brand new baddie, the Breeze. Defeat all the enemies and you’ll secure some sweet rewards!
NO SAFETY IN NUMBERS?
The Trial Chambers even scale in difficulty with the size of your party. The more players enter, the more mobs you’ll face! Can you and your crew clear a chamber crammed with critters? We reckon it’s going to be fearsomely fun finding out! You’ll land even more lavish loot if you tackle these tests with a team, too!
A NEW CHALLENGER
Get ready to be blown away because there’s a brand new mob waiting for you in the Trial Chambers. The Breeze is a cunning foe that moves by leaping around and will sometimes jump right over your head! It attacks with blasts of air and its wind bursts can even activate buttons and levers, so watch out for traps!
SO VERY CRAFTY
If you play survival Minecraft then the new Crafter may be for you! This Redstone device lets you craft items automatically. It can be a bit tricky getting the recipes right, but for budding Redstone engineers the sky’s the limit. You can even chain Crafters together! The first might make torches then feed into another to make Jack o’Lanterns. Spooky!
ARMOUR-DILLO
Each year the Minecraft community chooses a new mob to be added to the game, and the last vote was between the crab, armadillo and penguin. The armadillo won and will be coming to savannah biomes soon! If you startle an armadillo it will roll up into a ball. It can even drop a bony plate that you can use to craft wolf armour!
FUN WITH THE FORCE
How’s this for a mashup? The new Path of the Jedi DLC is a proper Star Wars adventure in Minecraft! You get to craft your own lightsabers, use force powers and take on missions for Yoda, Obi-wan Kenobi and more! Can you defeat bosses like Darth Maul and bring balance to the force? Find out now because Path of the Jedi is already out!
