EDGE GUARDS
This is a Smash Bros.-like game, so you know the drill – deal big damage, then give one final whack to send your opponent flying! Savvy players will jump, glide or soar back to the platforms, but you can block them by edge guarding. Throw moves on the edge, shoot projectiles to bounce them away, or jump out with a combo to stop their return.
BESTEST BRAWLERS
There are stacks of fighters to choose from in MultiVersus, but focus on unlocking Batman and Finn first. They’re both easy to learn and dish out big damage! Harley Quinn is also great. Bugs Bunny requires more skill but is totes amaze once mastered. Want more? Try Taz, Tom and Jerry, Shaggy, Velma, LeBron James, and Jake the Dog next.
ROLE PLAYING
It’s totes critical to stick to the strengths of your fave fighters! That starts with your character’s role. It’s either tough Tank. Saving Support. Brawling Bruisers. Or damage-dealing Assassins and Mages. Soak up damage with Tanks. Keep teammates fighting fit as Support. Brawl solo as Bruiser. And fight from afar as Assassins and Mages.

UNFAIR ADVANTAGE
Create space in 2v2 brawls. Stick to 1v1 fights as often as possible. When you’ve got your opponent on the ropes (or, better, off the stage), zip over to your teammate. Any chance to turn a 1v1 into a 2v1 in your team’s favour is a good move!
PERKY PICKS
For perkier perks, plan ahead with your teammate. By both choosing the same perk, you both get a stronger one! The other trick is to train perks. Stick with any character until you hit level nine. Now you can learn perks from other fighters. Our faves? Coffeezilla, Last Stand, and Tasmanian Trigonometry.
GETTING GOLD
You start MultiVersus with Wonder Woman. The other brawlers cost in-game Gold to unlock. To earn more Gold, battle with a buddy. Teaming up grants a neat 30% Gold bonus. Plus, use the free Battle Pass Toast at the end of the battle for bonus Gold. Also, level up characters. Beat the starter missions. And win matches for more moolah!
