Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds might look like a classic kart racer, but it has plenty of tricks up its high-speed sleeve! For starters, your awesome automobile can do more than just fang down freeways. Launch off a ramp and it might pick up parts and become a plane! Whip into the water and you’ll barrel along as a speedboat! Better still, after the first lap of each race you’ll tear through a ‘Travel Ring’ and into a whole new world! The person in the lead gets to choose and there are some over-the-top options, like a prehistoric habitat complete with pterodactyls and a terrifying T-Rex, as well as a molten magma moon laden with leaping lava dragons! You’ll then blitz back to the original track for the final lap, but don’t expect it to be exactly the same! CrossWorlds has an unreal roster of Sonic staples, from the blue blur himself through to Tails, Shadow and Omega. (More like ‘Oh, mega!’)

Each character has their own stats, plus there are four different vehicle classes to test out. You’ll also be able to customise your car by swapping parts, playing with its paint job and decorating it with decals. You can even assign gadgets to give yourself an edge.
