The game combos the cuteness and mountains-of-collectables love of Super Lucky’s Tale with the sweet superpowered suits of Super Mario 3D World. The weird and wonderful floating worlds of this wonderworld are stuffed with cool critters. Like, the tiny Kirby-like Tims that follow you around, nabbing missed Drops for you. That’s probably coz they love to nom on those Drops. More noms means bigger Tims. Plus, you can hatch more of these cool companions out of eggs. Part of the peak platforming is sniffing out keys to unlock rad new ability-packed suits (there’s 80 of ’em!). Like, Tornado Wolf for shattering stones. Jack Rabbit for loooong leaps. Or Elastiplant for extra tallness.

There’s stacks of hidden stuff off the main path. You should totes go after it all. But tumbling off the edge, stepping in purple nastiness or getting squished will reset you to the nearest checkpoint. Plus, you lose whatever ability outfit you were wearing! When exploring, put on a non-essential outfit in case you wipe.
