Some of our fave things have ‘Story’ in the title. Like, Toy Story. And Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Now there’s a storied game we dig with ‘Story’ in its name! Garden Story plants you into the role of Concord. This young grape has a great life taking care of plant pals. But he soon hears on the grapevine that his beloved town ain’t doing so great. Set out on a relaxed but rad adventure to protect Spring Hamlet as the latest (and maybe greatest) Guardian of the Grove. Thankfully, Concord has a bunch of buds to help him root out the Rot. These invading weeds take a whacking to beet, uh, beat. Upgrade your weed-whacking weaps and thorn-trimming tools to rattle the Rot. Then swap out memorable Memories (prickly perks) to buff for the biff. Like us, we reckon you’ll love getting lost in this wild and wonderful world.
PRO TIP!
Garden Story may be a chill experience. But it’s pretty hardcore when it comes to saving. As in, it doesn’t automatically save progress. Plus, there’s no way to quick-save. While it saves when Concord is conked out, you’re better off heading home. Now sleep. Whenever you nap, it advances the day and saves your progress!
