Quidditch doesn’t make much sense when you think about it. The way it works in the Harry Potter books is that the person who catches the Golden Snitch basically wins the match on the spot, making everyone else irrelevant. The good news with Quidditch Champions is that the devs have made some smart changes to the rules. In this game, the Seeker only gets 30 points (instead of 150!) for catching the Snitch and the match continues until one team has 100 points or the time limit is reached. The other positions are super fun too, with Chasers fighting over the Quaffle and trying to score, Beaters whacking Bludgers at opposing team members, and Keepers nimbly defending the goal hoops. You can swap between all these positions whenever you like, making this as close as the average Muggle will ever get to being a Quidditch star! The biggest drawback? There’s not much to do off the pitch.
GAME NINJA PRO TIP!
Pick the right broom for the job! A Seeker might value speed and acceleration over anything else, while a Beater might depend on durability. There are three main stats for each broom but you can also press a button for additional details. Don’t forget to upgrade your brooms when you can for premium performance!
