FIND THE REBEL VILLAGE
To start your Star Wars stopover, look out for Captain Bravara at your village. She’ll give you a pair of Macrobinoculars, so use those to scan your surroundings and find a glowing Alliance logo. This marks a cave entrance that will take you to a whole ‘nother island! From there, find the nearby Rebel Village and you’re at your new home!

RAISE THE ROOF!
The Rebel Village can be levelled up to unlock new builds and bonuses so walk over to the Village Square and take a squiz at what you need to do for the next upgrade. Some stuff is simple, like crafting a Rebel Workbench or constructing a stable, but other tasks are trickier, such as fighting through an Imperial Bunker in search of blasters.

LIGHTSABER, ACTION
Reach the end of an Imperial Bunker and you’ll land lots of loot, including a lightsaber! These Jedi jabbers are as awesome as you’d expect, and best of all, they don’t break! They just run out of juice and need to recharge. (Who turned out the lightsaber?!) One thing though – sabers destroy whatever you slice so aren’t great for resource gathering.

FIGHT THE EMPIRE!
Keep an eye out for Empire troops in the overworld as they’ll often be guarding a treasure chest. If you’re busting to brave a bunker, make sure you’re prepared, as there are quite a few waves of baddies to battle and a lot of loot to lap up. You might also want to craft a bed outside and set a new spawn point.

STOCKING UP ON STUFF
Need Plastoid for a crafting recipe? Certain Imperial and Rebel structures will drop it when smashed or you can battle Empire forces for it. Stormtroopers are also a good source of blasters and crossbows to use until you can craft your own. Sure, they’re usually super scuffed, but shooting a Stormtrooper from a distance sure beats having to chase him down!

THERE AND BACK AGAIN
LEGO Fortnite’s Star Wars saga may take place on a different island but you can always return to your earlier game – and village – by journeying back through the cave you entered in the first place. If you have an advanced village you may want to grab resources and even a companion to bring with you to the Rebel Village.
