We’ve been pumped for RPG Time: The Legend of Wright since E3 2019. It was s’posed to be out in 2020 but fast-forward a couple more years and it’s finally here! We reckon it’s totes worth the wait. Imagine an arts-and-craft diorama brought to life. Play your way through dazzling doodles, peak paper cut-outs, and other IRL objects. Those kinds of clever variety is a big piece of what we love about the gameplay. There’s so much to do before creative Kenta has to head home from school. And Wright is his RPG character. Wright’s a knight wannabe who loves being right. His pen-pal bestie is Princess Lay. But when her letters stop, it’s up to Wright to find out what’s gone wrong. Cue an epic adventure. Get stuck into big bouts of action and turn-based brawls. Crack clever cases on each puzzle-packed page. Plus, stacks of mini-games that keep things fun and fresh.
PRO TIP!
As you unlock new pages in Kenta’s notebook, take your time and have a gander. It’s not just about enjoying the rad art. There are also stacks of tiny secrets across the pages. Our fave is ninja hunting. No, not Game Ninja. But this RPG Time ninja is very good at hiding!
