In Sand Land, you are Beelzebub, a demon prince who has left his home to journey far and wide across a dangerous desert world. In this sandy landscape you’ll find giant scorpions, deadly raptors and swooping pterodactyls, not to mention going toe to toe with bandit gangs. Fortunately, Beelzebub is no slouch in combat, with furious fists, devious dodges, artful air attacks and superb special skills. Plus, he can utilise a variety of vehicles to fell any foe. These terrific tanks, mega mechs, brilliant bikes and more are one of our fave things about Sand Land. They can help you explore, too, so the jump bot can leap between ledges while the hover car can simply ride over river rapids. Since this is an action RPG you’ll grow as you go, learning new abilities and even expanding your homebase – a rundown ruin called Spino – into a serious city. There’s even plenty to discover beyond the arid desert environments.

You should definitely take advantage of the many customisation options for each vehicle. You can switch weapons, engines and suspension kits, play with your passive abilities, and upgrade parts and durability. You can even revamp the vibe of your rustbuckets by giving them a new coat of paint!
