SO VERY ACCURATE
Cartoonish combat is what Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is all about, but what we love the most is building custom units based on our favourite characters. Who would win between Spider-Man and Darth Vader? Or Thor and Naruto? Finding special abilities that fit is heaps of fun and then you can share your creations online. The Workshop has tonnes to download too.

HE’S ON FIRE!
The days of letting off fireworks in your own backyard are long gone, but there’s one game that lets you loose with an unlimited supply of radical rockets and that’s Fireworks Mania. Setting up elaborate sequences is a blast in every sense of the word, and you can even save your set-up as a blueprint to instantly place it again in future!

VAPORISING VOXELS
Teardown has insanely destructible environments so there’s nothing better than blowing them up and tearing them down. The game has some cool built-in tools but the community has taken it to crazy places, creating diamond pickaxes, lightsabers, gravity guns, portal guns, the ability to Thanos snap stuff and stacks more. Start in the featured mods section and go from there.

DRIVEN TO DESTRUCTION
You’ve never seen cars crash quite like they do in BeamNG.drive. In this game they crumple, concertina and crunch, sending wheels, bonnets and other bits flying. The graphics are nuts! For maximum mayhem, try out the superb stunt maps or download some of the hundreds of modded maps, cars and scenarios. Did we mention there’s a driveable cannon? It’s the Bob-omb.

COASTER OF DOOM
Confession time. We love playing amusement park sims and building rides that no one in their right mind would even go near, let alone on. Planet Coaster is our prank pick of choice, cos it can even create coasters that propel people through loops before the track ends and they soar off into space. Or you could play it props. Yeah nah.

A CRASH COURSE
Fun With Ragdolls: The Game lets you toy around with physics-based fun. Start with nothing and build out crazy gauntlets of obstacles, ramps, launch pads, lasers, cannons, cars, fans, mines, black holes and more, then spawn in as many ragdolls as you want. They’re basically like crash test dummies and it’s hilarious seeing what happens when you let them run!
