We’re totes thrilled to hear about SteamWorld Build. This is the next building block in a sweet series that loves to shift genres. It’s SteamWorld plus, building (obvs). And we def detect ya digging into some architecture. Build a place that’ll keep steambot citizens happy. Housing, electricity and all the other basics. But then entertainment places so they can let off steam. And that’s just the surface level. (SteamWorld) dig a little deeper for the other big part of the game. A massive mine under your town is stuffed with treasures. Like, ancient tech or awesome ores. Be careful though – this mine may seem empty, but you’re def not alone. Why all the excavating? To dodge global annihilation (natch)! Keep your wily workers safe from creepy critters and collapsing walls as you dig deeper. There’re five totes diff maps to beat. Plus, they’re stacked with sweet secrets. Crank up the difficulty if you want more thrills than chills.

This is the sixth game in the SteamWorld universe. It kicked off with the towering SteamWorld Tower Defense in 2010. We had no digs at SteamWorld Dig. SteamWorld Heist stole our hearts. Then we really dug SteamWorld Dig 2 and loved the hands dealt in SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech. Plus, there’s a seventh on the way – SteamWorld: Headhunter!
