Open-world games are pretty popular, but how about open-water? That’s what you can expect from the Subnautica games! They drop you into vast underwater worlds and let you explore, build and so much more! We loved the original, and Subnautica 2 is shaping up to be superb! It’s going to be set on an all-new alien world and have co-op for up to four players. You’ll be able to work together to gather crafting and building materials and set up a brilliant base, not to mention roam across a bounty of biomes filled with all sorts of strange sea life. Some of the new biomes seem super sweet – we love the look of the colourful coral fields but reckon the darkest depths might be home to some colossal creatures we don’t want to come across! If you love Minecraft’s survival mode, we reckon you should dive right into Subnautica 2 when it comes out!
DID YOU KNOW?
The original Subnautica let you craft watercraft like submarines to explore everything from underwater caves and volcanoes to coral reefs and kelp forests. It even had an expansion called Below Zero that was set in the freezing waters of an arctic biome.
