Wonder Woman Trivia

Wonder Woman Trivia

We lassoed some Wonder Woman trivia to celebrate eight decades of her fierceness!

FIRST COMIC APPEARANCE

Wonder Woman first hit the pages of a comic book on October 21, 1941 in All Star Comics #8. We meet her on Paradise Island as civilian Diana Prince. She then takes place in a tournament where the winner will be sent to America to help fight evil. She nabs the victory, is named Wonder Woman and, well, the rest is history!

MAKING MOVIES

She’s starred in four live action movies (with another two in the works!) and four animations, including Space Jam: A New Legacy and Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, where she and the Justice League step in to help defeat Balloon Man.

BECOMING LEGO-FIED

The first Wonder Woman LEGO minifigure came out in 2012 in a set called Superman vs Power Armour Lex. She also appears in minifig form in 14 other sets. If that wasn’t enough bricky business, she’s in six LEGO videogames as well – you might remember seeing her in LEGO DC Super-Villains and The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame.

ACTION FIGURE

You might own a Wonder Woman Pop! Vinyl or two… But did you know there are 41 different ones out there to get your mitts on? Our favourite has to be Wonder Woman and the Invisible Jet from the Rides collection!
