Each map is a custom challenge and it’s a blast seeing how long you can survive with a schoolmate. You can even give each other cash to help pay for upgrades.

TAKE A GANDER

Honking at humans and stealing their stuff is a good time in Untitled Goose Game, but add a second grumpy goose into the mix and there are even more LOLs. Sure, the extra belligerent bird helps make solving the simple puzzles across the game’s cute country setting easier, but for us it’s all about making mischief as wayward waterfowl!

GIVE ‘EM SHELL

Side-scrolling beat ‘em ups like Streets of Rage and Final Fight have always been kings of compelling co-op, but TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge has a secret ingredient… TURTLE POWER! The turtles feel awesome to use, with cool combos, special moves and dodges, but you can also play as Master Splinter, April O’Neil and more. Plus, it supports up to six players!

SWING AND A HIT

Heave Ho brings new meaning to giving someone a hand. In fact, that’s all you control! In this game you hold hands to form chains and then try to swing your co-op crew across gaps and over deadly spikes to reach the end of each level. What can possibly go wrong? Everything! That’s what makes Heave Ho so hilarious!

TWO GOOD

As you might guess from the name, It Takes Two can only be played in co-op, and is one of the best puzzle platformers ever made! Every level is deviously different from the last so you never know what to expect! One minute you’re shooting cannons from a pirate ship, the next you’re zipping along grind rails or battling as a barbarian in a dungeon crawler.
