Bō: Path Of The Teal Lotus Intro

What could be a better showcase for mega martial arts mastery than dashing through the air, launching off lanterns and dispatching deadly demons with swift staff strikes? Let’s take a little (Bō) peep. Available On: PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox Series S/X

This has to be one of the slickest and most stylish games we’ve seen in ages! You play as Bō, a celestial creature that looks a bit like a fox but with the body of a lotus blossom. Bō has descended from the heavens to fulfil an ancient prophecy. This means travelling across a mysterious land jammed with Japanese art and mythology. Path of the Teal Lotus is like a painting come to life as you ride enormous paper cranes, yak with yokai and meet a nine-tailed fox as big as a building! Bō will battle all sorts of bizarre beasts, using their staff to deal damage and evade attacks, and can even unleash special moves by summoning different daruma dolls. Getting around indemands parkour precision but is awesomely acrobatic, with grapple points you can dash towards then fling from, as well as moves like a downward dive that lets you blast through breakable platforms.

DID YOU KNOW?

Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus packs a stacked serve of the supernatural and is inspired by traditional Japanese mythology. You’ll meet strange spirits called yokai, fight fearsome fiends and even deal with divine beings who can help or hinder you.
