Mega Minecraft Biomes

Mega Minecraft Biomes

What makes a Minecraft biome bonkers? We reckon it’s a combination of striking scenery, radical resources and memorable mobs. Here are six tip top showstoppers! Available On: MOBILE, PC, PLAYSTATION, SWITCH, XBOX

LUSH CAVES

Minecraft’s underground world is usually dark, tense and a smidge scary, so coming across a Lush Cave is a delightful discovery! These areas often have some natural light so there are less hostile mobs, and they’re overflowing with greenery like vines, glow berries and dripleaf plants. Lush Caves are also the home of the axolotl. You can find them below azalea trees.

OLD GROWTH PINE TAIGA

This awe-inspiring forest biome has thick-trunked spruce trees that positively tower over you. They’re humongous! Not only does this make you feel like you’ve stumbled into the land of the giants, but it’s a wonderland for wood, so stock up on 64 stacks! You’ll find other useful blocks and items here too, like mossy cobblestone, podzol and mushrooms.

CHERRY GROVE

The cherry (grove) on top of the delectable selection of scenery in Minecraft. The cherry trees that spawn here are perpetually in bloom so the whole area is peppered with pink petals. Powerfully picturesque! Cherry wood is wicked to work with, making this a good biome for builders. It’s also often home to friendly mobs like rabbits, pigs, sheep and bees.

PALE GARDEN

This spooky biome is the domain of the Creaking, a creature made of wood that chases you if you turn away, but freezes if you lock eyes with it. The Creaking can’t be hurt directly, but if you whack it you can follow a particle trail back to its Creaking Heart in a nearby pale oak tree. Destroy that and the Creaking croaks.

DEEP DARK

If you venture far underground you may come across this strange, shadowy world. Be as quiet as you can around sensors and Sculk Shriekers or the Warden will come for you
and that’s a foe you don’t want to fight. The Ancient Cities down here have legendary loot like enchanted golden apples, plus Sculk can be a good source of XP.

END HIGHLANDS

These mysterious outer islands in the End sit at a higher elevation than the Ender Dragon’s dominion and you’ll be flying once you find them
literally! That’s because you can find Elytra wings inside End Cities, not to mention Shulkers, which you’ll need if you want to craft Shulker Boxes! End Highlands are also home to creepy Chorus orchards.
