Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Intro

Dive back inside the visor of legendary intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran, as she takes on a new Space Pirate threat in this super sequel! This game is for older K-Zoners! Available In 2025 On: Switch.

Metroid fans have been waiting absolutely yonks for the next Metroid Prime game, and it’s finally almost here! Beyond buckles you into the boots of one woman army Samus Aran, who sports an advanced armoured suit with a cannon on one arm and a whole bunch of nifty abilities, such as being able to grapple across gaps and curl up into a ball to roll through small spaces. New to Metroid? Think mysterious alien worlds and high-tech research stations in space. Think gameplay that mixes movement puzzles with combat, then tees you up to tackle towering bosses. Levels are like labyrinths, and as Samus unlocks new powers and abilities, she can access more areas. She can even scan enemies and the world around her for vital info and clues. Beyond is bringing back a baddie called Sylux, a rogue bounty hunter who seems to have partnered up with Space Pirates to make one formidable force! This one promises to be intense and atmospheric!

DID YOU KNOW?

The first Metroid Prime came out on GameCube in 2002 and took an already legendary 2D series into first person. Suddenly we were seeing the world from Samus’ perspective, and the result was moody and magnificent. This game has now been re-released on Switch and is called Metroid Prime Remastered.
