A TATTLE’S TALE
Each of Mario’s partners have their own strengths in battle but we usually go in with Goombella. Her Tattle ability will tell you everything you need to know about a foe’s stats, strengths and weaknesses. It’s super useful if you encounter that enemy type again and can be a game changer against bosses!

PIECE IT TOGETHER
It’s worth scouring every area for secrets. Star Pieces are often hidden behind objects or in trees so check every nook and cranny and hammer every hardwood! Head under Rogueport to find Dazzle and trade them in for sweet new badges! Also look out for Shine Sprites! These can be used to power up your partners.

A COMMANDING PERFORMANCE
Action commands can be the difference between victory and being vanquished in battle so don’t forget them! If you’re really synced in you can superguard with B to deflect damage back, and use stylish moves for more star power. Want to learn about battling and practise your moves? Find the Battle Master!
