Pepper packs a punch. At least, her super duper drilling device does! You can use it to drill through soft rock, zooming along like some kind of mega mechanical mole then breaking out to bust up bugs, land loot and get over gaps. Why? Well, Pepper the pirate has been marooned and all her tasty treasure taken, so it’s up to you to help her get it back! The Grinder gameplay is deviously different from any other platformer we’ve played and makes going ballistic a ball! Levels look like they’ll be a magical mix of action and puzzles. There are machines like elevators that the drill can power up, and obstacles like mines to avoid. Pepper can even use the drill to swim through water. Each level also has a collection of skull coins to find by busting through weak walls and reaching secret areas, so even if you can beat a level no probs, securing all the secrets might be another story.
