Playing Now: Crash Team Rumble

The Crash-verse loves the ‘CTR’ abbreviation so much it’s now raced over from Crash Team Racing to Crash Team Rumble! Available On: PS4, PS5, XBO, XSX/S

Crash has already smashed platforming and racing, now he’s crashed into another great gaming genre. This time it’s a team-based action-packed multiplayer game called Crash Team Rumble. Fart, uh, dart across a range of Crash-tastic maps. Stack your backpack with mountains of Wumpa Fruit. Then ditch your fruity finds at your Wumpa Bank to totes add to your team’s total tally. Nab more fruit with your friends than your furry foes to win! We love how EZ it is to pick up and play, but there’s also stacks of depth. Focus on scoring. Or scoring stacks of strikes against opponents. Plus, each map feels totes distinct. Like, a beachside brawl with bouncy balls and a bonus bank. Or a calamitous canyon with a foe-frying sky beam. Plus, the tricky Tiki Towers map with high-flinging Bandicootapult shortcuts. Def don’t dodge past the rad Relic Stations – their map-specific power-ups are great for converting a loss to a lead!

PRO TIP!

Totes play to the strengths of your chosen character’s class. Like, Crash is a Scorer who stacks heaps of Wumpa Fruit. Coco is a Booster built for speeding around maps. Or Dingodile is a Blocker designed for tanking and dealing loads of damage. Plus, checking out the health, capacity, combat, mobility and difficulty rankings helps heaps!
