Have you ever been skiing? It’s unreal fun, but it takes a while to get the hang of, and you wind up a bit battered, bruised and wet from all the stacks. In Snow Riders, on the other hand, you’re instantly slaloming down the steepest of slopes, throwing up powder as you turn sharply, tucking your body in to go even faster on the straights, skating across frozen rivers and leaping into spins and grabs as you launch off jumps. It’s difficult to master, but is fantastic fun right out of the gate. You actually view your rider from on high, which means you can’t always see the course ahead. That’s part of the challenge, of course – learning where the rocks and tricky bits are and trying to find the best lines. There are plenty of checkpoints, so it’s not like you have to rock the whole run in one go… unless you want to!
GAME NINJA PRO TIP!
Every blue slope run has a secret resting area to find. Keep an eye out for places you can move away from the main track to explore and you’ll soon start to track them down. These locations see your rider simply sitting and enjoying the scenery. Noice.
