Dinkum Intro

Dive deep into the ridgy-didge, fair-dinkum, true-blue awesomeness of Animal Crossing-in-Down-Under gameplay of Dinkum! Available On: PC, CONSOLES

‘Dinkum’ is legendary Aussie slang for something that’s true, honest and genuine. And Dinkum the game is truly, honestly the genuine article! Think Animal Crossing set in Australia and you get the picture. So say g’bye to faraway islands and g’day to something set in Straya’s big backyard. Make mates with friendly Giant Wombats and other familiar wildlife. Have a fair go at exploring stacks of Aussie-fied locations – tropical eucalyptus forests, scorching sandy deserts, and cool-water billabongs. Start out with just a swag for sleeping under the stars. Then build a beaut town from the ground up. Craft cracker gear and stacks of stuff to keep the locals happy. Plus, there’s tonnes to do outside town on this chock-a-block island. Snag fish or insects. Mine mysterious minerals. The personal museum collection ain’t gonna fill itself! Or sell ’em for cash. Steer clear of pesky predators. Like, punch-packing roos and bitey crocs. Then tear up surf on jetskis. Plus, soar high on hang-gliders.

DID YOU KNOW?

Dinkum is being built by a single dev. Fair dinkum! James Bendon has been working on Dinkum for the last few years. Flying solo. Coz of the Aussie setting, it helps that Jamas has been developing from Down Under. James’ hope is Dinkum will recreate a pinch of his childhood outback magic.
