The Blue Blur is back and he’s chasing the devious Dr. Eggman and fiendish Fang across 12 brand new zones. You’ll be jamming through jungles, pinging around pinball tables and swishing down waterslides. If ‘gotta go fast’ is your motto there are plenty of boosts and loops to blast through, as well as alternate paths and secrets if you explore. Discover a golden ring and you’ll be able to catch a Chaos Emerald and unlock super new abilities, like summoning an army of clones, revealing invisible platforms, and shooting yourself in any direction like a bullet. You can play as three other characters too, and each has unique moves. Tails can fly, Knuckles can glide and Amy has a double jump. You can even play local co-op with all four at once! Bad news: this is a bit of a bummer, as the game doesn’t follow the action very well. It’s probably just too fast! Classic Sonic.

PRO TIP!

Try to find all seven Chaos Emeralds as soon as you can. Not only are their powers helpful when fighting bosses and scouring stages, but once you have all seven, you’ll unlock a unique bonus ability for each character, as well as Super Sonic!
