A lot of super cool Marvel, Star Wars and Disney announcements have been made recently, so I thought I’d recap it all for the blog!

Star Wars themed lands are coming to Disneyland in Anaheim and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando! Each park will take visitors to a never-before-seen planet, with one taking you on a secret mission on the Millennium Falcon, and the other putting you in a battle with the First Order from Episode VII: The Force Awakens! I am trying to keep calm but wow, that sounds so epic.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios are also adding a Toy Story Land! Visitors will basically experience life just like Woody and Buzz do – surrounded by giant toys and items!

Phew!

For mega Marvel fans (like me, obviously), Disneyland is also adding an updated Super Hero HQ, where Captain America, Thor and Iron Man will meet and greet guests! There will also be an Iron Man Experience at Hong Kong Disneyland, where you can help Iron Man in a simulated battle.

My thoughts on all this? Bring the parks to Australia and New Zealand. Right. Now.

Hey Zane!
I haven’t heard of a definite release date for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, but K-Zone spies in Hollywood have heard whispers that it might be between June and August of next year. The cast has finished filming their scenes so hopefully we’ll know more details soon. I’ll be sure to let you and all TMNT fans know when the release date is officially announced!

Here’s what I DO know about the next movie with our fave heroes in a half shell:

Stephen Amell will star as the hockey mask-wearing vigilante, Casey Jones. DC fans will recognise Stephen as the Green Arrow, and WWE fans have probably seen him jump into the ring recently to take down Stardust!

WWE star Sheamus will be playing Rocksteady, one of Shredder’s evil henchmen!

 
The K-Zone team are big fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. My fave is Donatello, and Dan the editor loves Donnie too! Lou is all about Leonardo, and Sanja the art director thinks Michelangelo is the best!

If you’ve picked up the September issue of K-Zone, you might have seen I recently hung out at Nickelodeon HQ with Spongebob – he was bigger than I expected! It got me thinking about all the reasons I wish I lived in Spongebob’s world, so I thought I’d share them!


1. I could drive around in a giant burger car – if I got a job at Krusty Krab.

2. I could live in a pineapple (under the sea)!

3. I could hang out with SpongeBob and Patrick!

4. I could annoy Squidward – let’s be honest, who hasn’t wanted to do that?

5. I could finally try a Krabby Patty!
